The ISO 9001:2015 standard has been out for over a year. Organizations are earnestly engaged in the transition process. While transitioning to the latest revision carries its own mandate, there is a more compelling impetus for this process: Making sure the transition creates value. Understanding the nature and rationale for the changes will facilitate individuals' ability to effectively implement the changes and provide greater continuity for the organization as it migrates from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001: 2015.

There’s been scant attention paid to the changes in ISO 9001 that related specifically to suppliers and their relationship with the organizations they serve. While some of the changes are subtle, others are profound. Requirements have been added, while others that have been enhanced.

All of the requirements carry the potential for improved supplier relations.

This session will focus on the changes and the benefits that can be derived from successful implementation.
